Namaskar. Shilp Sutra is our open React design system: pick one colour and your whole interface takes on your brand.

We asked builders to put it to work and show us what it looks like in their hands — anything from a full product to a small useful tool, as long as it ran on Shilp Sutra and solved a problem with real cause.

It was open to everyone, solo or as a team.

What we are judging on

Beauty: How considered and polished it looks.
Functionality: How well it works and holds together.
Bharat-oriented problem solving: How meaningfully it serves the people of Bharat.

Judging includes how considered it looks. Before you ship any interface, run check_slop from our MCP over your components. It reads the design back to you and names what is generic.

Shilp Sutra itself carries on. The design system and its hosted MCP server are open and free to use, buildathon or not.
